Good news: to ensure smooth and efficient production, we are looking for an Automation Engineer who can act as a bridge between production, technology, and IT.
🧩 What will you do?
Design and implement automation solutions for production processes, with programming mainly done in Siemens software
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify and implement improvements
Maintain and optimize PLC programs
Collaborate with various departments as well as external parties to identify automation needs and develop solutions
Oversee installations, testing, and commissioning of new systems
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support in case of malfunctions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of industrial automation
🎯 What do you bring to the table?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an industrial focus (Electrical Engineering, Automation...)
You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
You are a meticulous and discreet team player
Siemens software (TIA Portal, SIMATIC Manager) holds no secrets for you
Knowledge of Eplan and SQL is a plus
You have excellent command of Dutch and a good knowledge of French and English
Hands-on mentality with a future-oriented mindset – you’re not afraid of change
You have the flexibility to adapt your priorities based on what’s required at the moment
Driven by a desire to learn, you proactively seek out new knowledge
